Specialist in sustainable construction

Sustainable construction means for us a holistic approach that combines ecological, economic, social and cultural sustainability. Sustainability is considered in all our activities, design work and processes, and consultancy services. Our aim is to be a forerunner in sustainable architecture and to develop the construction field and its processes towards a more sustainable future. Close collaboration with our clients and partners is a key to achieve this goal. Together with the clients, we establish the sustainability objectives for the projects noticing their unique features.

Actively involved in the field of sustainable construction

We are an active member of Green Building Council Finland and work closely with other organisations in the real estate and building sector for sustainability. We have experience in BREEAM certified projects as well as RTS environmental classification competence. We use the leading OneClick LCA life cycle assessment software to calculate carbon footprints in our projects interactively with the designing. Also in environmental aspects, our working strategies base on BIM modelling. In addition to low-carbon construction, we offer expertise in energy-efficient architecture as well as other environmental aspects, such as circular economy.

Continuous improvement as a forerunner

We have supplemented our RALA Quality certification with a RALA Environmental certificate as one of the first architect offices in Finland. With the environmental certificate, we aim to reliably communicate to our collaborators about our comprehensive environmental expertise and commit to continuously improve our environmental performance. As a part of international #BuildingLife programme leaded by World Green Building Council, we are also creating our own roadmap to carbon neutrality by the end of 2025.
