CHALLENGES: High site efficiency target (e=0.3), cost-effective construction, and integrating optional housing types into the overall plan. Connectivity of buildings, privacy in housing courtyards, and parking solutions that fit into the small-scale 1950s environment.

SOLUTIONS: Fitting different housing types onto equally sized building sites and designing connecting building sections to accommodate various combinations. Courtyards were protected with cold storage and carports, and the views from apartments were oriented exclusively towards their respective courtyards. Additionally, internal expandability of the apartments was designed, and the overall plan was adjusted both in terms of massing and scale to fit into the surrounding urban structure.
