Challenges: A dense and low urban environment, significant variations in ground levels, and the need for privacy in housing courtyards. Areas adjacent to the street edge and urban design requirements, as well as traffic noise and construction economics in the surrounding environment. The plan is based on the winning proposal from a competition organized for the project.
Solutions: Connected, concrete-element semi-atrium houses with intimate atrium courtyards. Views from the street to residential areas are controlled, and their floor plans are open. The differences in terrain were utilized for the high spaces, and the courtyards were oriented towards favorable directions, with noise being limited by cold auxiliary buildings.
